IH Richmond Works

Went to Richmond a couple of days ago to photograph the old International Harvester plant. It is an upcoming project that Im getting ready to get started on. Im going to model the facility as it might have looked in 1973.

GR&I

Finally I have some place to start doing some model railroading. Im going to start building the branchline part of the PC panhandle. Although I dont have enough room (yet) to build the whole thing, but I can do about 2/3 of it. Im going to focus on Danas Perfect Circle, Alcoa, and Perry Siding.

Green Gons

My mission on the Panhandle right now is to finish up that stack or cars that is sitting on the to do shelf. I was able to finish up a couple of gons. One of which is an ex PRR G31b and the other is a PLE drop bottom gon.

Joe Deininger photos

A friend of mine gave me a CD that contains a collection of photos taken around the Fort Wayne area by Joe Deininger in the 1970s. This is an interesting collection that contains mostly F units. The resolution isnt the greatest but they can be seen here.
